Special County Council Meeting to receive public comment about the Fox Island Bridge Replacement was held on June 2, 2025 5:30 PM at the Heart Church, 655 6th Avenue, Fox Island.
The meeting was held in hybrid format with in-person and remote attendance.

Community Forum. This is the opportunity for the public to address the Council on issues of significance to or affecting Pierce County government and that do not appear for final action on the day’s agenda.
Public comment on any other items on the agenda shall be at the discretion of the Council. Comment is limited to three minutes.
To ensure equal opportunity for the public to comment, the Council may impose a different time limit on each speaker. All comments must be directed to the Chair.
Several hundred people attended this meeting, and voiced concerns about how the cost of construction would be distributed; to Island residents, county-wide assessments, tolls, etc.
